8-Step Development Process

It is well known that if you want to produce great results, you must have a detailed plan outlining what you want to achieve, a rigorous process to execute your plan, and a robust quality assurance program to ensure the final results are nothing less than exceptional.

Through years of experience in designing, developing, and deploying business software solutions, Algario has created an 8-step process to effectively and successfully analyze, implement, validate and evaluate our eLearning initiatives with our clients. Check points are in place at every step to ensure we are truly meeting your needs, and to enable you to provide the feedback necessary to optimize our solutions.

  1. Needs Analysis
    • Identify the needs of learners, stakeholders and the business itself
    • Develop project objectives based on these needs
  2. Technology Analysis
    • Identify, examine and discuss current technologies being used
    • Revise and/or enhance project objectives based on technology analysis
    • Identify any technological challenges which may be encountered in development and deployment
  3. Project Recommendations
    • Presentation of final proposal stating objectives and development recommendations
    • Further define the scope of the learning initiative
  4. Content Development
    • Define the course, module and unit objectives (if applicable)
    • Develop all testing required to fulfill these objectives
    • Collaborate with internal subject matter expert(s) (SMEs) to write, revise, customize and/or edit content
  5. Interface Development
    • Define the design objectives
    • Develop an overall creative concept to meet these objectives
    • Develop all program templates to meet the objectives
  6. Testing
    • SME-approved content is tested by a select group of intended learners to ensure all identified objectives are being met
    • ALPHA testing for program functionality is performed during the later stages of the program review by the client
    • BETA testing is typically performed by the client in a controlled learning environment
    • Final program is field tested with controlled group of actual learners
  7. Tracking Reporting
    • Student progress is tracked by the Algario PowerLearn™ LMS
    • Student transcripts are generated for managers and system administrators
    • Automatic email updates on employee progress are provided to employee coaches and managers
  8. Evaluation & Improvement
    • Following the program's completion and launch, Algario analyzes the program reports to identify areas of potential improvement in content, interface, process, etc.
    • Recommendations for program improvement are presented
    • Program is revised based on Evaluation results
