Learning Tracks
Students are assigned to a specific learning track that is based on the prescribed learning outcome, which consists of the courses a user is required to complete as part of their role. Depending on the learning track, courses can be either completed in "any order" by the learner, or completed in a pre-determined sequence that is set by the learning specialist or subject matter expert (SME).
Managers
Managers can be added and deleted from the system as needed, and can be segmented based on role and responsibility. Top level managers are able to see everything associated with the company, while others can only see student information pertaining to their staff. This hierarchical approach to managing employee groups creates a well organized, logical, and easily managed administrative and reporting structure that supports your organization's privacy policy and requirements.
Bookmarks
Students can easily return to course content by selecting to bookmark where they ended their last session. This creates an efficient curriculum path for learners, ensuring that they are not wasting time and are progressing through their prescribed learning.
Transcripts
Students have online access to their test results, certificates earned, and any external courses they have completed. This provides them with a dynamic monitor of their own successes, along with a progress report of the current assignments completed to date.
Interactive Activities and Exercises
Students can easily refresh their knowledge by reviewing and revisiting course activities they have previously completed. Updating activities based on manager and real life feedback enhances the learning process and business outcomes.
Notepad
Students can enter and revise course notes they have taken, directly in the system, allowing them to create their own refresher notes they can use as a future reference tool.
Job Aids
Students have easy access to the information and resources they may need to successfully complete a course. Students will never be required to go outside of a program to find information that is relevant and supportive of their learning assignments.
Classroom Sessions
Offline training can be fully integrated with your online LMS experience, if required. Students can enrol online for classroom sessions, contingent on their manager's approval. All completed classroom work is tracked and reported.
Conference Calls
Instructors can create, schedule, and manage conference calls within the Algario PowerLearn LMS so students can discuss course material and help facilitate the learning experience. The PowerLearn Admin Dashboard provides all the tools necessary to fully customize the posting of all relevant participant information.
Student Report
The student report contains information on an individual student's progress displaying such information as the registration date, last learning session date, contact information, and links to automated email communications with each student or student group. Expanded reports provide additional information on the student's learning tracks, online course test scores and assessment test scores.
Test Results Report
The Test Results report displays the high-level results of the student's completed assessment tests. Clicking through this report provides a view of the student's detailed test results, allowing for a more in depth analysis when required.
Test Performance Report
This report tracks how well assessment test questions performed, providing statistics on how individuals answered questions, and how this compared to the correct/incorrect answers. This functionality provides insight for the SMEs to assess areas for improvement within the learning program.
Team Report
For the manager, this report displays how a specific team as a whole is progressing through the learning tracks, providing another barometer of employee progress.
Online Summary
This report summarizes the online course activity for a selected timeframe. It can be printed or emailed as a data file, which can then be opened in a spreadsheet format, providing another way for learning specialists to further analyze and report on employee progress.
External Course Tracking
It is important to centralize and record all learning activities that contribute to the improvement of employee performance. As such, information regarding external courses, costs, grades or levels of completion can be tracked in the student's online training record. Both student and management are then able to record all courses in this unified student transcript.
