David Batchelor's 30 plus years of extensive experience in marketing, sales, software development, training, corporate communications and e-commerce spans both the client and vendor sides of the business.
His marketing and sales experience on the client side of the business at S.C. Johnson, Revlon International and Beatrice Foods provides the background necessary to understand what clients need. Having acquired this client side knowledge, David engaged the life of an entrepreneur with one of Canada's pre-eminent marketing and communications firms, The Mariposa Group, with the objective of helping clients improve their business performance. As such, his main focus has been on creating solutions for clients that help close the gap between "what is" and "what could be". This career created an opportunity to develop innovative solutions for over 200 of North America's most recognized and respected corporations.
Over a 25-year period, David has lead several talented teams to develop innovative and highly successful solutions to help clients meet their challenges of a constantly changing world. David is president of Toronto-based business performance improvement company Algario, and president of Question Based Selling OnLine.
Today, Algario specializes in the development of solutions to enhance employee performance. The company has developed an innovative eLearning technology the Algario PowerLearn™ Learning Management System (LMS), which delivers customized training solutions for businesses, as well as the highly successful Question Based Selling™ strategic sales development program. PowerLearn is a comprehensive system that integrates on-line and off-line training materials, measures and tracks employee learning progress, and enhances professional development on an individual level.
